Design Gems

Section titled “Design Gems”

One-site morning digests: a random site that fits Noa’s aesthetic braid, captured as a short design note.

Braid (mix deliberately): Y2K / Nekoweb / plain-HTML craft · 88×31 · Frutiger Aero / Win7 glass · Nightcore packaging · Requiem Garden sage paint (colors/icons, not necessarily full chrome).

Cadence: Designy pulls one gem most mornings into this folder.

Where to look: curated shelves in Sources (hosts, directories, webrings, revival lists, button archives, plus contemporary galleries like Awwwards, Siteinspire, and Land-book). Prefer handmade personal homepages; the galleries are the contemporary-craft shelf in the same daily rotation.

Note shape (per gem):

  • Title + URL + date
  • Why it fits the braid (1–3 sentences)
  • Layout / craft patterns worth stealing (tables, rails, badges, motion, type)
  • 1–3 reference images in Attachments/ (or linked embeds)
  • Optional: what not to copy
